MORNING LIGHT LYRICS AND CREDITS

Here Comes The Night
[Chords]

I take a walk through New York City
I make some friends along the way
They don't know me like you know me
And I think I like that way

I take a walk through downtown Dallas
Gonna play a show or two
It feels so good just to be alive and
I know that you have been there too

Oh, oh, oh, here comes the night
Oh, oh, oh, you are my light
You are my light

I take a walk through central Cape Town
And drop by The Waiting Room
Good ol' Miles is a guitar whiz
And I cannot wait to see him play

Oh, oh, oh, here comes the night
Oh, oh, oh, you are my light
Oh, oh, oh, we are alive
Oh, oh, oh, you are my light
You are my light

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, here comes the night
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, here comes the night
Oh, oh, oh...

Rosemary [Chords]

I take the road to your house
I'm hoping you are home
I probably should have called
But I'm scared of the telephone

Your dad is in the yard
He waves hello to me
He says 'Son, how are you?'
And sips his coffee

Rosemary, are you there?
Are you out tonight, 'til morning light
Rosemary, are you there?
Are you here with me?
Here with me

The years have come and gone
Like waves on the sea
I wonder where you are
And if you still remember me

The nights can be so cold
And friends can be few
One thing that I know
I miss you

Rosemary, are you there?
Are you out tonight, 'til morning light
Rosemary, though your gone
You're here with me
You're here with me
You're here with me
You're here with me

You're here with me
You're here with me
You're here with me
You're here with me

Scattered Trees [Chords]

I walk through fields of scattered trees
The children are frolicking
The girls are laughing
And the boys are just standing around

Oh the sun is in my eyes
I feel the warmth so deep inside
Your eyes are glowing bright
Your hair is beautiful
Beautiful
Beautiful

Hold me, so I can hear your heart
Call me, so I can hear your voice
I drive this road at night
The city is so alive
Reminds me of a time
When I was barely nine

And the world was at my feet
You were standing next to me
I remember your smile
And the way you say goodbye
Take my hand tonight
Keep your dreams alive

Hold me, so I can hear your heart
Touch me, so I can feel your skin
Call me, so I can hear your voice
Call me, so I can hear your voice

Late Night City Lights [Chords]

She calls me after ten
To ask me how I am
The night is young and she is alone
And she wants me around

So I gather up my stuff
And head down to her place
The city lights are bright
And I feel so good 'cos I cannot wait to see her

Everything's alright now, my dear
You are safe in my arms now, my dear
As I wait with you tonight

She greets me with a smile
And offers me some wine
We sip beneath the stars
I imagine myself as an astronaught for a while

Everything's alright now, my dear
You are safe in my arms now, my dear
The late night city lights are ours, my dear
The world will stop for us tonight, my dear
As I wait with you
Wait with you you tonight
